Every so often, I get the opportunity to help out friends and family with design projects.
What better time to stretch my creative mind and design for fun? Here are a few of my favorite projects.
Friends & Family
Alyssa and I became friends in middle school, and I was thrilled when she and her partner Rob asked me to make signage for their wedding day. Since their venue was Atlanta’s Monday Night Garage, they valued an open, fun, and cheerful aesthetic to welcome their guests.
I was happy to combine their love for live music, mid-century boldness, and bright colors into a large format poster - that still hangs in their house today! I translated the design into smaller signs that guided their loved ones through the bar, the guest book, and their board game selection, giving everyone a comfortable place to enjoy their evening.
Friends & Family
Sally and Alec are another set of great friends, and since my favorite wedding gift is design work, I was happy to create and invitation for their shower as well as the Save the Date for their wedding day.

What’s better than a normal chili cook-off? One run by designers of course!
Started by the student chapter of AIGA Atlanta, the chili cook-off took creativity to the next level by asking all teams to brand themselves – and their food. Three years in the student competition and a bonus year when the traditional AIGA Atlanta chapter took over led to some very fun brands and even better chili.
